Your Instructor
Hi everyone! My name is Collin Henderson. I am the founder and CEO of Master Your Mindset. Thank you for looking into making the best investment you can make -- and that is investing in yourself. Before you get your mind right, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a former two sport division-I athlete, Pac-12 Champion, Academic All-American, and team captain at Washington State University -- where I received my undergraduate and master's degree. I also have over a decade of experience as a number one ranked sales professional and sales trainer with two Fortune 500 medical companies. Why am I teaching classes on mindset and high performance? My credibility lies more in my struggle than my success.
Though I have been a high achiever my whole life, I often hid performance anxiety, perfectionism, and the fact that I received validation tied to outcomes. If I won, I was worthy. If I lost, I was worthless. I let fear, worrying about other people's opinions, and constantly comparing myself to others hold me back from reaching my potential (sound familiar?). Thank goodness I had a mental teacher that change my life. He taught me the power of the brain, self-talk, self-image, and taking action. He gave me a list of 30 books to read -- all on the power of the mind and owning your habits. The rest is history.
Along this journey of studying and implementing research from the science of positive psychology and high performance, I have set sales records, have authored multiple books and journals, have coached professional athletes, business leaders, and a variety of teams on mindset, winning habits, and culture.
As a certified mental skills coach, I have learned that victory goes to the vulnerable. Nothing happens by accident. Everything begins and ends by the words that we say to ourselves and the actions that we take. I cannot wait to help you rewrite your own internal narrative and guide you along this journey of bringing out the greatness that is already inside of you. Let's go!
